CAMHS Hull and East Riding Children Looked After Team

Introduction

Introduction

Welcome to our Hull and East Riding CAMHS Looked After Children Teams

We provide a safe and caring service to support emotional well-being, relationships, and the stability of children and young people experiencing attachment difficulties and developmental trauma.

Our CAMHS Looked After Children’s Teams (LAC) work with children, young people, carers and professionals, to support children and young people who are under the care of, have been in the care of, or are close to being in the care of Hull and East Riding local authorities.

What we do

We work with children and young people who are living with  carers, in children’s homes, supported lodgings and those who are living at home with their families. We also work with care leavers in East Riding.

Our teams work with the ARC Framework, so that we work with those who will be able make the most difference. This can include foster carers, families, residential teams, social workers, education, health professionals, as well as directly with children and young people. We will spend time developing a shared understanding of your situation to best tailor our support to you.

We work closely with residential children’s homes, offering regular reflective discussions and building connections with the children and young people to offer emotional well-being check-ins, and a link to CAMHS.

Please note, that the support offered by Hull and East Riding differs. We encourage you to review our referral criteria.
