Our team were lucky enough to be one of the first in the UK to trial having a Speciality Doctor for people with a profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD).

Our original Speciality PMLD Doctor has now retired, but we are hoping this is a role we will be able to fill again in the future.
Our speciality doctor worked closely with our nursing team. They supported GPs in Hull to work with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

01482 336740We support adults who have a learning disability in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire who need more intensive support at a given time to manage risk, prevent placement breakdown or an inpatient admission.
The Humber Adult Autism Diagnosis Service provides assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We are an assessment and treatment unit (ATU) for people with a learning disability with additional mental health needs, whose needs cannot be managed within the community.
